Bus Cancellation – January 11

Due to current weather conditions, all school buses, taxis and special education routes in WELLESLEY, WILMOT and WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP are cancelled.

All schools are OPEN and Extended Day child care programs are open. The Education Centre is also open.

Kindergarten Registration

Parents are asked to watch for the “Kindergarten Registration” link that will be appearing on our website.  Kindergarten registration will occur from February 8-12 at the school.  It is also possible to complete registration online.  Details to follow.  Any child born in 2011 or 2012 is eligible to attend kindergarten within a school’s catchment.

Festival of Lights a great success

There were many magical moments as we travelled around the world to discover different celebrations of light.  Thanks to our students, staff, and especially our music teacher, Miss Weber, for sharing their talents in such a beautiful way.

Welcome Miss Kay

We are happy to welcome back Miss Kay who is returning to us as our new Special Education Resource Teacher.  She is looking forward to working with our students, teachers and families in providing support for our special education needs.

Hospice Support

A free workshop is being offered for parents, grandparents, guardians and caregivers on supporting grieving and bereaved children and teens through the holidays.   More information is available from Hospice of Waterloo Region.  Hospice Waterloo Region  The workshop is 7:15-8:15 December 15 at Hospice of Waterloo Region Family Centre, 298 Lawrence Avenue, Kitchener.

School Council

Festival of Lights

On Thursday, December 17 at 2:15 our students will perform in a “Festival of Lights.”  This concert will showcase each class as they perform songs that feature different aspects of this season of light and hope.
