February 2 – All Schools CLOSED

Due to weather, ALL schools are CLOSED today. All Extended Day Programs are closed as well. The Education Centre is open for those who can get there safely.

PD Day – January 30th

No school for students this Friday, enjoy your day!  Teachers will spend the day engaged in assessment, evaluation and planning activities that support our plans for school improvement.  Support staff will be involved with various professional development opportunities.  Our before and after school program will provide care throughout the day.

Students in grades 3 – 6 from Preston Public have been given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at Galt Arena Gardens, before an exciting hockey game between the Cambridge Winterhawks and the Elmira Sugar Kings! Due to the current weather conditions ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES in Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and North Dumfries Townships are cancelled for the Waterloo Region District School Board

The following schools dependent on Transportation are Closed for the Day: Floradale, Linwood, WaterlooOxford D.S.S.
ALL evening RENTAL PERMITS at these schools are CANCELLED

TRANSPORTATION IN ALL OTHER AREAS IS OPERATING AND SCHOOLS ARE OPEN.

All Extended Day Child Care programs are OPEN.

We are all saddened by the tragic events that took place at Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan. To show support for all those affected, we will be lowering flags at our schools, and our Education Centre, until the end of day on December 19.
